Bruschetta from Crunchino
Discover the delicious variation on the Italian Bruschetta. The combination of toasted Crunchino, fresh herbs and crusty bread is simply irresistible.
- Coat the Crunchinos with a little olive oil and sprinkle with some salt. Grill them for about 10 minutes in a grill pan until the Crunchinos are cooked and have grill marks all around.
- Remove the Crunchinos from the pan, remove the seeds and cut them into 1 cm cubes. To this, add the chopped garlic, red onion, garlic powder, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and basil. Then season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- Meanwhile, slice the bread and grill it with some olive oil until the bread is crispy. Then spread the Crunchino mixture over the grilled bread slices. Enjoy your meal!
