The Poblano peppers are best described as mildly spicy chilli peppers. The Poblano looks like a long, wide chilli pepper with a subtle spicy flavour. The Poblano originates from Mexico and is therefore a well-known product in this cuisine. The Poblano is often stuffed and/or grilled.
Freshly stuffed and roasted it is a popular dish, also called “chiles rellenos poblanos”.

The Poblano has a length of about 9 cm, a diameter of 3 to 5 cm and weighs 60 to 80 g.
