The Pimientos de Padrón chilli peppers are widely used in Spain as tapas. They are very mild in flavor, but the pepper have a surprise effect; 1 out of 10 chilli peppers is spicy. That’s why the Spanish people say: “Pimientos de Padrón, unos pican y otros no” (some are spicy, some are not).

The Pimientos de Padrón chilli peppers originate from the town of Padrón in the Galicia region of Spain. They are grown along the banks of the river. Our Pimientos de Padrón are grown by our growers in Spain.
This mild chilli pepper is only available as a green chilli pepper and has a length of 3 to 8 cm, a diameter of 1 to 2 cm and weighs 6 to 10 g.
