Spicy veggie burger with habanero mayonnaise

We developed this spicy burger for those who think that vegetarian food can’t be exciting. Completely vegetarian with a fierce and spicy bite So tasty and mouth-watering (spicy).

PREPARATION

Put a Habanero pepper in the freezer a day in advance.

Burger: Drain the beans and corn well. Crush the onion and garlic in the food processor.

Add the beans and corn and grind again. Drain well again in a sieve.

Grate 1/3th of the pepper through this mixture, make 4 burgers and refrigerate them.

Habanero sauce: Grate the rest of the chilli pepper through the mayonnaise and ketchup to taste.

Red coleslaw: Cut the red cabbage as fine as possible (you can also buy cut red cabbage), mix with crème fraîche, lime zest, salt and pepper.

 

FINISH

Fry the burger in the pan, 3 minutes per side. Stack the burger as follows: on the bottom of the bun, place a leaf of cabbage lettuce, thin slices of cucumber and the coleslaw, then place the burger on top, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese and a spoonful of habanero sauce. Place the top of the bun on top and your spicy veggie burger is ready!

  • 500 g black beans (canned)
  • 100 g corn (canned)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 50 g oatmeal
  • 1 round lettuce
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 slices of cheddar

  • 100 g red cabbage
  • 50 g crème fraîche
  • 1 lime
  • 6 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
